hey, I want to add a hitch to my 2019 Tiguan R-Line. I like the Curtis hitches because I do and I want to make sure that it will fit the R-Line version that I have. thanks

Yes, the 1-1/4" # C12177 and 2" # C12177 Curt trailer hitches will fit your 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line model. In previous year R-Lines we have had customers say that they needed to adjust the exhaust hangers a little to keep the exhaust from rubbing against the trailer hitch and causing extra noise, but that is easily accomplished and you may not actually have to do that.

Attached is an installation video of the 2" version, part # C12177, on a 2019 Tiguan for you to follow. I recommend going with the 2" version as it opens up the opportunity to use a wider variety of accessories.
