Recommended Hitch and Wiring For 2020 Ford Fusion Sport

I recommend Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C12164 which is a confirmed fit for the 2020 Ford Fusion Sport. It is a concealed cross tube so the only portion of the hitch that is visible once installed is the receiver portion for a nice clean looking install.

For the wiring, I recommend Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118574 which will give you a 4-Way trailer connector on the Fusion. The Tekonsha brand wiring is known to be more reliable and longer lasting than the other brand options. I have attached an installation video on a 2015 Ford Fusion but it will be the same for your 2020.

Since you are planning on doing some towing, I recommend to take a look at the helpful article I have attached about figuring out the rise or drop you may need to tow the trailer level with the Fusion. You will need a 1-1/4" ball mount, I have attached our selection of the 1-1/4" ball mounts.
