What Secures Harness to Frame of 2019 Hyundai Kona that Gets Moved to Install Curt Hitch
Published 11/08/2019 >
Question:
Everything seems straight forward but I am wondering about 1. moving the wiring harness. It is attached to the frame...is it simply a bayonet that can be pulled out? Don’t want to cause a problem as it is on the backside of the link plug for the harness. 2. The panel that needs to be removedand replaced is the visible nut the only part to be loosened...I see a couple of what appear to be plastic plugs. Any hints? Many thanks

The wiring harness that needs to get moved to install the Curt hitch part # C11529 is attached to the bottom of the frame through a small hole. I lightened up the picture that's in the install instructions so that you can actually see it. Basically it just pulls straight out like you mentioned.
There are three push pins that need to be removed to remove the panel you mentioned as well as a bolt.
