Does Reese Goose Box Provide Same Turning Clearance as Fixed Fifth Wheel Hitch

Question:
i have a 2018 ram 2500 short bed mega cab. i bought the companion slider that attaches to the gooseneck ball. after multiple test turns, i found out that the trailer clears the truck cab with very sharp turns. so, i didnt need the slider after all. so now Im wanting the goose box so that i can clear up the bed after unhitching and to lose a little weight. are my clearances gonna change with the goose box ?

Since you have turning clearance with a slider hitch slid forward all the time you'd have the same turning clearance with a Reese Goose Box like the part # RP85FR installed. The clearance would essentially be identical.
The part # RP85FR that you referenced is the correct replacement for Lipper pin boxes 0719, 1621, and the Fabex PB-600 series.
