Published 10/24/2019

Question:

I am looking to put on the air lift 7500xl air bags on 2020 ford f-250 super duty with the 5th wheel towing prep pacakge. 4WD. just want to make sure I can do this? I know it says it can be used with most in-bed hitches and stuff but want to make sure before I buy. If they can, what is the best compressor for these?

I confirmed with Air Lift that the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Air Helper Springs # AL57577 are indeed compatible with a 2020 Ford F-250 Super Duty four-wheel drive that has the factory prep package.

These are the perfect option for helping the rear suspension on your F-250 deal with any the added strain of carrying cargo or towing a trailer. What happens when you have additional weight on the rear of your truck is the front end lifts up a bit, which makes your truck more difficult to handle because the front and rear tires have a significantly different amount of weight on them. When using the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL # AL57577, the air bags are going to take the increased weight so your suspension is evened out, improving your F-250's handling. I do want to add that when installing these air bags it is strongly recommended you use the Air Lift Air Hose Cutter # AL10530 because it is specifically designed to give you the straightest cut for your air lines which greatly minimizes the chance you'll encounter any air leak.

Along with these air bags, the best compressor is the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL74000EZ because it has a wireless remote control and there is no need to try and add additional wiring or air lines inside your cab. This compressor also allows you to adjust the air pressure in each bag from the comfort of your truck's cab along with the ability to maintain a pre-set air pressure if you find that perfect setting that gets your truck level.
