Im interested in this rack, but other sources state the weight limit of this rack is 33 lbs, not 50 lbs? For example: Any clarification on the true weight limit of the rack would be helpful.

I can confirm that the weight capacity of the Malone Pilot TC ST Roof Bike Rack part # MPG2103 is 33 lbs. If you need a higher weight capacity, the Swagman Race Ready Roof Bike Rack part # S64705 which is similarly priced is rated at 45 lbs. The Inno Tire Hold II Roof Bike Rack part # INA389 has the highest weight capacity of 50 lbs.
