Updated 09/24/2019 | Published 09/22/2019 >
Question:
I had to the dashboard on my 1999 Dodge Ram. Long story short. In the process the 3 position switch to the tuners pulled apart. Is it safe to drive until I receive a replacement switch and cable. Also what position would the tuner be in with the switch in its disabled state.

I contacted Edge and the Edge EZ for the 1999 Dodge Ram part # EP30200 (which is the correct fit for your 1999 Dodge Ram) is safe to drive with the switch broken until you get the replacement. The Edge EZ will function in the tune that it is was adjusted to when the switch broke.
