Can this rack be installed with an existing bed cap?

I have a solution for you, but because the Buyers Products Over-The-Cab Truck Rack # 3371501150 requires the use of the bed rails, you won't be able to use it with a truck bed cap. For this reason I recommend going with something similar to the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System # Y02-490B . This rack will install on the cap of your truck bed via a track system and provide you with the crossbars required to safely carry ladders without scratching up the roof of the cap or the truck. This rack system will also let you carry most roof rack mounted accessories like bike racks, cargo carriers and cargo baskets for added versatility.
