The tubing of the Malone HighRise Kayak Storage Rack # MPG323 that you referenced is 1-1/4 inch by 1-1/4 inch square tubing and it sticks out from the wall. It attaches to 20 inches which allows it to fit basically all standard kayaks. The weight capacity is 150 lbs.
