The Rhino Rack Sunseeker Awning is designed to mount directly in the T-slot channels of most aftermarket crossbars like the Thule AeroBar # TH7601B-TH7601B or Rhino Rack Vortex Aero # RRVA137B-2 . It will also mount on the Rhino Rack Pioneer Platforms like # RR42115BF . If you already have crossbars with the T-slots, no mounting kit is required. If you have the Rhino Rack RSP, RS 2500, or SG crossbars you can use either # RR32127 (angled down) or # RR32123 (angled up) mounting kits.

If you don't have any crossbars on your 2019 Subaru Outback, I recommend going with the Thule AeroBars # TH7601B-TH7601B with the Thule Podium mounting kit # THKIT4063 . This roof rack provides a sleek, factory look with aerodynamic crossbars to help minimize wind noise. The bars have T-slots for mounting the Sunseeker awning, as well as any other channel mounted accessories you may want to use on your bars.

If your Subaru has factory crossbars, you would not be able to mount the Rhino Rack Sunseeker Awning. For that reason I recommend going with the Yakima SlimShady # Y36VR, which is designed to fit on most factory crossbars without the need for additional mounting hardware.
