BAK Revolver X4s Hard Tonneau Cover for a 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 5-1/2 Bed

Will the BAK Revolver X4 Hard Tonneau Cover - Roll Up - Aluminum and Vinyl - Matte Black Item # BAK79100 fit my 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 5-1/2 ft bed? Are there any differences between the X2 and the X4s?

The BAK Revolver X4s Hard Tonneau Cover that you need for your 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 with the 5-1/2' bed is part # BAK25VR. The part BAK79100 that you referenced fits older model GM pickups and isn't compatible with the 2018 model that you have.

The Revolver X4s # BAK25VR is basically the exact same as the Revolver X2 # BAK39120 but with a matte black finish instead of the traditional glossy black finish on the X2. This matte black finish is becoming more popular because it matches the new trim styles on trucks and even looks OEM in some circumstances.

Can I install any type of waterproof soft roll up or snap on truck bed cover over my Revolver truck bed cover in order to prevent water from getting into my truck bed?

@Gef There aren't any additional tarps to put on top of your Revolver to keep water out of it. The Revolver is actually designed to keep water out so if you have water getting into your truck bed it's best to check that the rails and seals are installed correctly, and also that they are in good shape. Seals will wear out over time so it's good to check on them and replace any that are in bad shape.
