Unlocking RetraxPRO XR Hard Tonneau Cover on 2013 Ford F-150

Question:
cant get the key to unlock the cover does the key unlock it or just pull the pully wire underneath the cover. We just bought the truck and love the cover, but cant get it to unlock

In order to unlock the RetraxPRO XR Hard Tonneau Cover # RTT-80372 on your 2013 Ford F-150 with a 6-1/2 foot bed you should only need to insert the key, which does unlock the cover. You can try adjusting the set screw on the lock, as indicated by the cut out of the linked installation instructions I added for you.
