Question:

Is there a way to lock the topper? Ill be keeping a lot of stuff in the back of my truck for extended periods of time while traveling. I need to know that someone cant just walk up and get into my stuff when Im not around. Ill be able to lock the tailgate, but that would be useless if the topper doesnt also lock in some way.

The Bestop Supertop for Truck Collapsible Bed Cover part # B76317 does not lock, the zippers are all accessible from outside of the truck without the tailgate being down. I am not really sure how a locking version of this cover would work but I do have options for you. The first option would be to minimize visibility of your items inside the cover using the Tinted Window Kit for Bestop Supertop for Truck part # B7632835. The other option would be a hard tonneau cover like the Tonno Pro Hard Fold Hard Tonneau Cover part # TPHF-254 which would lock with the tailgate shut. Although this option would not provide as much room as the above it will be more secure.
