Correct Replacement Tarp for Truxedo Low Profile Tonneau Cover-2006 Chevy Silverado

Question:

I have a TruXedo low profile Tonneau cover on my 2006 Chevy Silverado truck. It has a 6 1/2foot bed. I want to replace the tarp and want to make sure i get the correct one. Is TX1117930 the correct item number for what I need? If not, what is the correct one?

Most likely you'll need the # TX1117651 replacement tarp assuming that your original cover was a Truxedo Edge, # TX881101. If you could find the part or serial number on the existing header or cover, I can verify for sure. The header should have a silver sticker on it that has the serial number on it. The part number of the existing tarp will be stamped in white ink on the underside of the cover on the passenger side. It should be visible once the cover is rolled up 3 turns.

Truxedo is pretty confident that the # TR1117651 is what you need, but I'd recommend getting back to me with one of those two numbers just to be absolutely sure.
