Question:
Im interested in this hitch for my 2015 Mazda5, and I was wondering if the class-1 restriction tab interferes with the use of accessories like a 2-inch adapter? Assuming Im under 100lb tongue weight.

Since the Draw-Tite # 24874 has restrictive tab in it, it still may prevent you from using any type of adapter for 2" hitch accessories in a 1-1/4" hitch. Because of that reason I recommend going with the Curt Class I Hitch # C11127 since it does not have the restrictive weld stop that would keep you from freely using a 1-1/4" adapter for your 2" receiver accessories.
Because of the limited capacity when using adapter accessories, if you'd like an option to carry more bikes I recommend looking at the Malone Run-Way 3 Bike Rack # MPG214 . Not only will it allow you to carry more than just 1-2 bikes in the event that you want to bring along some friends, it's lightweight and folds up easily for storage when not in use.
