Adding 7-Way to John Deere 4640 Tractor
Published 07/11/2019 >
Question:
We have a John Deere 4640 on our farm and I’m looking to add a 7 way trailer plug for lights on implements. It has a factory turn signals and flashers on it. I am looking to see what you would recommend for it.

What you would need to do is use the part # 119250KIT to tap into any available taillight circuits so that you could give yourself a fully functional 4-way. From there you would use the part # 37185 to convert it to a 7-way. If you don't have brake lights on your tractor currently, you'd be limited to basically just being able to operate the turn signals and hazard lights.
