Question:
I have a DM6076SL-16K hitch and am wondering if I can use it in my 1996 Ford f250 with the 8 foot bed, because I know that hitch, and rail kit are listed for the 6 1/2 foot bed.

While the Demco Hijacker SL Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Travel Adjustment # DM6076SL-16K is meant to be used on a short bed truck, you can still use it with your long bed 1996 Ford F-250 using the Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails # DM8553005-12. Since you have the long bed you won't have to worry about redepositing the 5th wheel hitch when you come to tight turns.
