Question:

I recently purchased a 2019 Toyota Rav4 adventure with factory raised rails. I would like to add an 80 x 48 platform and put a rooftop tent on the platform. What would you recommend, crossbars and platform? Would also like to add an awning to one side.

We have exactly what you need to add a roof rack, rooftop tent and awning to your 2019 Toyota RAV4 Adventure with raised side rails. What will work perfectly to give you everything you want starts with a roof rack from Yakima:

With this roof rack on your 2019 RAV4 Adventure any of the following rooftop tents will fit:

- Yakima SkyRise HD Tent for Roof Rack Crossbars - 2 Person # Y07436 or 3 Person # Y07437

To add a compatible awning you will need the Yakima SlimShady Awning # Y36VR.

These tents do come with lock cores and though the roof rack does not you can add the Yakima Same Key System (SKS) Lock Cores (QTY 6) # Y07206 to add locks to your roof rack and change out the locks to your tent so they are all keyed alike.
