The wheel trays on the Swagman Chinook Bike Platform Rack # S64683 are made of a combination of high-impact plastic and steel. The actual tray part that contacts the tire is steel while the mounting bracket/knob part is plastic. The trays are available as replacement parts # SP520 and # SP521.
