The Curt Class I Trailer Hitch # C11453 that you referenced does feature a 1,000 pound towing weight capacity so the hitch itself is capable of towing a trailer as long as it doesn't exceed this limit. With that being said you will still want to check the towing limits of your Nissan Micra as stated in the owner's manual.
Because you will always be limited by your weakest component, you will need to adhere to whichever limit is lower, the vehicle's or the hitch's.
If you do find that the Micra can safely tow a light trailer then you will also need a wiring harness and ball mount/hitch ball combo. For a wiring harness the Curt Hardwire Kit # C59496 will work great to provide you with a 4-Way connector to connect with the trailer and power its basic signal lights.
Then for a ball mount Curt recommends the Class II Drawbar # C45521 that you can use with the 1-7/8 inch # A-80 or the 2 inch # A-82 Hitch Ball (depending on what the coupler for your trailer accepts).
