Where the knuckle is located on trailer there is a wedge with 2 bolts behind the knuckle, the bolts keep loosing up is that a problem and can I do anything

If the bolts that hold the Universal Wedge for 5th Airborne Sidewinders part # 201100 in place on your Reese Sidewinder Fifth Wheel King Pin like part # ST400-SW16K will not stay tight then I would first replace the lock washer. If you have already done this then make sure to tighten the bolts until the lock washer is flat. If this has been done as well then you can put some thread locker on the bolts, part # LT37420.
Also, can you please confirm the 5th wheel hitch you are using so I can see if a custom wedge is available?
