Question:
I have a 2016 Jeep Renegade and have a 4 pin flat setup but I want reverse lights as well. I have ordered the 4 to 5 pin adapter that splices into the reverse light. My question is which wire is the reverse light and do I have to tap leads from both the drivers side and passenger side in order to balance the load?

I wish I could tell you which exact wire you'd need to splice into for the reverse light circuit of your 2016 Jeep Renegade but since we have not installed a 5-way adapter like the part # 20036 to a vehicle like yours the best we can do is to have you test all of the wires that run to the reverse lights with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 until you find the circuit that carries 12 volts only when the vehicle is in reverse.
