Troubleshooting Flat Towing a 2015 GMC Terrain

Question:
2015 gmc terrain I notice sometime while flat towing behind my DP. The wheel doesnt turn while turning a corner, seems like your dragging it. Thank you

Make sure you are following all of the flat towing guidelines in your owners manual. If you are seeing your Terrain wheels not tracking and instead dragging there is an issue with the vehicle. In the online manual on page 10-70 and 10-71 this is outlined.
If the vehicle is towed without performing each of the steps listed under “Dinghy Towing,” the automatic transmission could be damaged. Be sure to follow all steps of the dinghy towing procedure prior to and after towing the vehicle.
If you follow these procedures and you are still having that issue, I recommend taking it to a mechanic to have it checked out.
