Does Passenger Side K-Source Towing Mirror # KS62140G Have Convex Mirror

Published 05/13/2019

Question:

Passenger mirrors are different than the drivers side in that the image is wider so you can see other lanes better. The are labeled objects in mirror are closer than they appear. I want to know if the image/reflection is like a standard passenger mirror or it is just a standard mirror?

The K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirror - Passenger # KS62139G that you referenced is confirmed to fit your 2000 GMC Yukon XL and it will completely replace the factory mirror. I'm not quite sure what you mean when you asked if it is standard but the mirror itself can be extended for a wider view when you're towing or pushed back in for a normal view when you're not. When it's pushed in your view will be about the same as it is now with your factory mirrors. Please just let me know if this doesn't answer your question.

For both the passenger and driver side mirror in one kit you can use part # KS62139-40G.

I have attached a short video review that you can check out as well.

I apologize for misunderstanding before. Yes, the Passenger Side K-Source Towing Mirror # KS62139G does have a convex mirror that allows for a wider view (along with the "objects are close than they appear" warning) as opposed to the driver-side model (part # KS62140G by itself) that features a completely flat mirror. This is the same as the standard factory driver and passenger mirrors on your vehicle.
