Does Solar Panel Controller Get Ran to Redarc BCDC Battery Charger

Question:

I have been researching your products and reading your excellent QandAs and have two questions. As usual, I am probably overthinking all of this but thought I would come to the people who give good, straight answers. This is in regards to using any one of the solar packages you offer and this dc-dc charger. 1. The typical setup diagram shows the solar panel connected directly to the charger controller. I am presuming that, in reality, the solar panels would first run through the solar charger controller which would then connect to the dc-dc charger. 2. The second question is more convoluted. So, the charger would connect to the batteries which would in turn feed into the inverter which would feed into the RVs converter box. This would then provide AC to the various devices as well as converting the AC back to DC to provide power to the 12 volt circuits. However, one function of the converter is to provide a charge to the batteries. Does this create some form of conflict? Thanks,

If the solar panel has it's own controller setup you would bypass it and run it straight to the Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # 331-BCDC1240D that you referenced as it is designed for unregulated solar panel power.

To answer your second question a conflict is not created in the scenario you described. Having the voltage changed twice like you mentioned would not be an issue.
