will this bulb work in my 2019 dodge grand caravan, i had one in my 2009 that works perfectly. Is it the same bulb?

Based on my research your 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan uses a 3157 bulb for its reverse light. The Hopkins Backup Alert # HM20101VA that you referenced is designed to replace a 3156 bulb, which will physically fit in place of your van's 3157 but may not function properly because of the difference in design.
We do not have a similar replacement backup alert bulb that's designed for the 3157 type bulb so your best option will be with a separate backup alarm like the Pollak # PK41820 that can just be wired to the reverse light circuit on the vehicle. It has a nice compact size that allows for easy mounting in protected areas.
I have attached a sample install video just so you can see how it works.

Good Day Sir. My friend backed into a mailbox and broke the rear window on a Dodge 2012 Grand Caravan. But it never beeped as an alert as long as she had it... Is is missing an option or something just is broke? Thanks and God speed :)
