Question:
I bought a 24 foot fifth wheel and I would like to know if I need to put on an air suspension system or maybe something else. This is our first RV and we want to do it right. Thankyou so much

While it is not required that you install an air-suspension system on your 2004 GMC Sierra extended cab 4x4 1500, it will most certainly help with the ride quality, handling and braking of your vehicle once installed and properly setup. I would recommend one for you as they do make a difference.
With that being said, the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 # AL57286 that you referenced is designed for 3500, 2-wheel drive cab and chassis model trucks. You would want an Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 # AL57250 as this is confirmed to fit a 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 like yours.
I attached installation instructions for you to check out also.
