The Edge Insight CS2, part # EP84030, is not a tuner type of programmer. It can display several parameters and allows you to monitor them but you cannot tune the engine with it. It will not add horsepower, torque, or change any of the factory settings on your 2001 Volkswagen GTI. It can be used with other performance chips to track and monitor your newly tuned engine.
