I wasn't able to find anything from Reese with the part number 36069 but we do have a variety of trailer hitch options for your 1997 Chevy Van. I'm guessing by van you are referring to an Express Van. If you have something else please let me know.
For a 1997 Express I recommend the Draw-Tite Class III Max Frame Receiver Hitch # 75189 which has a 2" receiver. I'm not quite sure what you will be using the trailer hitch for but this has a 5,000 lb towing/500 lb tongue weight capacity which should be great for most applications.
If you can give me some more details on what you are wanting to use the trailer hitch for I can make some additional recommendations if necessary.
