Question:
I have a 4wd SUV 2003 jeep liberty with 17inch wheels....I was wondering if these chains would be ok to put on my vehicle. I have also heard with 4wd vehicles you need to put chains on all 4 wheels, is this true?? Thank you

With 17 inch wheels, your Liberty most likely has P235/65R-17 tires on it.
If that is indeed the case, the Thule Snow Chain you referenced will be too small to fit your tires.
I would recommend the Thule Standard Snow Chain, part # TH01571247.
On a 4WD vehicle, you can use chains on all four wheels unless the owners manual prohibits it. If you were only planning on buying one set of chains, use them on the rear wheels.
Before purchasing tire chains, consult your owners manual for any advice or prohibitions regarding tire chains. Some vehicle manufacturers prohibit using tire chains on certain vehicles because of clearance issues.
I have linked you to the chains I recommended, as well as some FAQ articles about snow chains.
