If you are not getting any power to your Tekonsha P2 # 90885 brake controller it sounds like there is a short somewhere that is impeding functionality of the controller.
If you have the factory 7-way on your 2014 Honda Pilot and are using Wiring Adapter # 3070-P there should be 12 volts on the black power wire of this adapter, which you can test with the 7-Function Digital Multimeter # PT89ZR. If there is not you would know there is a short somewhere or the brake controller or adapter is bad.
Additionally, I have attached some help articles on testing and troubleshooting brake controllers I strongly recommend reading.
