Question:
My truck has a factory 7 way rv round socket for trailer lights. Ok I want to add a tail gate light bar 60inch , What can I get to add a 4 way plug in, for the light behind the hitch out of site. with out cutting wires? The truck only has 30,000 miles on it . Other wise I would not care, how I did it . Can you help me with any idea? Thank You !

Since your 2000 Chevy Silverado is equipped with the factory 7-Way connector all you will need to add a 4-Way is the Tekonsha T-One Wiring Harness # 118384. This will plug right in-line with the 7-Way (no splicing, cutting, etc) to provide you with a 4-Way flat that you can use for your new light bar.
Because of how it installs it will also retain function of the existing 7-Way. I have attached an installation video that you can use for reference as well.
