Left Turn Signal is Faint on Trailer
Published 03/29/2019 >
Question:
All trailer lights are working running lights, brake lights, 4-way flashers, and both turn signals. No problem right? Well not exactly. When the right turn signal is on shining brightly, the left turn signal is also signaling but very faintly. Somewhere power is bleeding over to the left signal. I hooked up to another trailer to make sure there was not a problem with vehicle and there is not. Any advise to what to check first would be appreciated...Thanks

If the left turn signal is faint the problem is very likely a poor ground, as is often the case with these type of funky issues. Check the ground for your left turn signal and verify that the ground area does not have any type of dirt, paint or corrosion built up that may be hampering it.
A bad ground is almost always the cause of this issue so it is exactly where you should start and I am guessing this will resolve the issue. I have added a link to a wiring troubleshooting article for you to take a look at which I also highly recommend reading.
