Question:

Does anyone make a grill guard that mounts to a front receiver and thus be removable? I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500.

We do not offer a hitch-mount grille guard and in my research I could not find one. I suspect the reason is stability.

If a large and heavy grille guard like Westin's Sportsman # 45-1200, which weighs over 110-lbs, were mounted only at a hitch receiver tube it would almost surely damage that hitch. Without multiple frame mounting points the guard would wobble all over the place and be a big distraction as you drive. It sure wouldn't stand up to off-road travel.
