t see cut out for fuel lines on driver side and no one in reviews mention them

The Draw Tite hitch part # 75139 would not interfere with any fuel lines on your 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Basically the hitch just raises into position and secure it with existing hardware. I attached an install video for the hitch for you to check out as well.
