if the tray is installed on the A Frame on Front of trailer and your plug in in the rear, is an extension needed for this? What are better options for this?

It sounds like you have your generator mounted to the Stromberg Carlson Trailer Tray Cargo Carrier part # CC-255 in front of your trailer and you need to connect it to the power inlet on the rear of your trailer. If that is the case then I have a few different options for you depending on if your trailer has a 20 amp or 30 amp service and if your generator uses 3 prong or 4 prong connection. I have attached these options for you below. The power cords are all 25' long.
