Question:

I am looking for a 4-pin wire harness for a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Touring - L with Electronic Stop Start. Like others have said, The dealership will not provide a wire harness for this particular model. They say they can get one for 2017 without ESS or a 2018 or 2019 with ESS. As part of the sale, the dealership was to install the tow bar and wire harness. They installed the tow bar, and then said they cant get the wire harness. Do you have any suggestions of a wire harness that will work here? Are there any reported issues caused by the ESS? I was looking at the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector Item # 118712. But it doesnt make any mention of the ESS. I also saw the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector Item # C56322, but again doesnt make any mention of the ESS Thanks,

That is interesting that they included the wiring on your deal but then said that they couldn't install anything. Luckily both the Tekonsha T-One # 118712 and the Curt T-Connector # C56322 are compatible with your 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Touring L even with the Electronic Stop/Start.

I reached out to my contact at Tekonsha who said that he hasn't heard of any issues and since this tees in behind your tail lights you won't experience any issues. I do recommend going with the T-One over the T-Connector as we have found the wiring from Tekonsha to be the most reliable. Attached is an installation video of this wiring kit on a 2017 Pacifica for you to reference.
