will this be ok mounted in my 5.6 ft bed of f-150 4X4?

A truck bed that is only 5-1/2 feet in length needs more slider clearance than what a standard slider hitch like the Curt E16 you mentioned can provide. You'll need around 22-1/2 inches of additional clearance and this hitch only provides 12 inches. We have one hitch setup that will work great for that though. The Demco Hijacker 13k Autoslider part # DM8550041 slides back 22-1/2 inches automatically as you make tight turns.
To install it in your truck bed will require an underbed rail kit part # DM8551001.
