Mighty Cord 90-Degree Detachable RV Power Cord w/ Locking Ring and LED - 50 Amps - 25 What is the covering? Plastic or rubber?

The Mighty Cord 90-Degree Detachable 50-Amp RV Power Cord # A10-5025ED90 has an exterior insulation layer made of thick black thermoplastic material, rather than natural rubber. Some of the photos on our site do give the impression that the outside insulation is rubber, but it is thermoplastic which is tougher and less prone to deterioration from UV exposure.
