Question:
2010 f-150 4.6l 2V , Tuner/ Cold Air Intake What is the best performance tuner, or chip for this set up? Also, do I need a cold air intake kit in conjunction with performance chips or tuners? Lastly, is a chip, tuner, or cold air intake, any of the three of these really, the best bang-for-the-buck?

A cold air intake isn't required when adding a performance tuner but it will certainly provide additional benefit. If deciding between the two options a tuner will give you the greatest increases in performance when installed by itself.
For your 2010 Ford F-150 with the 4.6L engine I recommend the Edge Gas Evolution CTS3 Performance Tuner # EP59YR. This particular tuner will provide increases of up to 18 horsepower and 35 foot pounds of torque. It includes a really nice 5 inch full-color touchscreen that will let you scroll and swipe through different parameters and options. I also really like the included Mileage Coach that will help you develop fuel-efficient driving habits to save on gas.
We do have a custom dash pod for this system on your truck with the Edge # EP28500. If appearance is a concern this is a great option to allow for a sleek OEM look to the monitor when mounted in the cab. It can be painted to match your interior.
