The Derale Engine Oil Cooler, # D15502, fits many different engine filter thread sizes (3/4-16, 13/16-16, 18 mm x 1.5 mm, 20 mm x 1.5 mm, and 22 mm x 1.5 mm), so it should fit your 1968 Chevy Camaro. You can check ahead of time by checking the filter thread size of a filter that fits your engine.
Also check the O-ring diameter. This kit fits an o-ring diameter of 2-3/4 inches.
The unit does have a built-in thermostatic bypass feature. It allows oil cooler than 180 degrees to bypass the heat exchanger, so your engine will warm up faster.
