Kia Soul Base Plate Fits for Various Model Years

I am shopping for a used Kia Soul with model years from 2014 to 2018. Does this base plate fit all the years? Also, do any model years create more headaches during installation? I can focus in on a particular year, if it makes installation easier. Thanks for the help.

Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit # RM-522115-4 fits the Kia Soul with manual transmission for model years 2017 through 2019.
For 2014 through 2016 model years a different crossbar style kit, EZ4 part # RM-522114-4, is specified. These will not differ much in terms of installation but the instructions for both are linked so you can review and compare and then decide for yourself.
