Question:
Can a 245/70/17.5 chain fit on a 245/70/70 tire?

Expert Reply:
Since the wheel diameter of 17.5 is not common on passenger vehicles it's not a size our chain manufacturers have fits for so it's hard to compare if the two sizes you mentioned would have same chain fits.
For the 245/70/17 though we have the Titan chain part # TC1547 which would fit and work well. These chains are easy to install, provide great traction, and are priced great too. If you wanted the easiest to install though the Konig Easy Fit chains part # TH04115102 are the way to go. They install in a matter of seconds and are all around very excellent chains.
