Will Advent Air RV Air Conditioner # ACDOM150 Replace Dometic Ducted Unit

Question:

Does this unit will fit and plug in on a dometic duotherm 459516.701C0, ducted unit, do you have to remove the shroud and install any thing, was a video from you Web side and it showed doing this. Also how the 1 warranty work, when or if it break down, do you have to removed the all unit and send it back ??. How long does adven unit been on the market ?

I spoke with my contact at Advent Air and she said that the Replacement RV Air Conditioner # ACDOM150 will indeed fit and plug right into your existing Dometic ducted setup. You will need to remove your existing shroud and install the new one that comes with this unit. We do not yet have an install video of this process available.

You are correct that the vent comes with a 1-year warranty. If anything were to go wrong with the unit you simply need to contact the dealer from where you purchased the vent and they will walk you through the process of a replacement. It is really a case by case basis as to whether the manufacturer would ask you to send anything back.

My contact at Advent Air said that this particular air conditioner has been on the market for around 5 years.
