Why Shouldnt Moonroof be Opened on 2019 Jeep Cherokee with Roof Rack Installed

Question:
I’m curious as to why you can’t open the moonroof in the 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with a roof rack installed? The window opens up inside the vehicle and nothing changes on the exterior. Thanks,

Roof rack manufacturers tend to make a blanket statement about moon and sun roofs on vehicles. Since a good majority of these open upwards there can be clearance issues with specific roof racks so as a general rule they say no. This is the same case with the Rhino-Rack Vortex StealthBar Roof Rack # JA7972 for your 2019 Jeep Cherokee.
With that being said, if your window opens inside the vehicle as opposed to raising up on the outside then the roof rack will definitely work fine.
