Best Ratchet Straps for Securing a Motorcycle

Question:
I noticed that in your pictures and video of this item, 2 straps are shown. But in reading the description, in 3 places it says there are 4 straps included. I googled the model number and noticed that other sellers are selling them only in pairs. I thought you might want to be aware of the discrepancy. But while I was looking online, there seems to be a problem with people using these newly designed straps to haul their motorcycles and having serious problems with the straps working loose because of the springy suspension. I thought you may want to do some research and perhaps caution potential buyers that they may want to use the straps only for static loads.

I went out to our warehouse and checked out the Erickson Sliding Ratchet Tie-Down Straps w/ Safety Hooks part # EM31425 for you. This set comes with two ratchet straps, not four. In regards to the ratcheting mechanism loosening, this can be an issue with a bouncy load or in your case, a motorcycle.
In order to securely transport a motorcycle I highly recommend using the ShockStrap Ratcheting Tie-Down Straps part # 297-15RSDB which have built-in shock absorbers that are specifically designed for toys with bouncing suspensions. They are less cost effective but a much more quality product that will give you the peace of mind to secure your motorcycle. They come in a set of two and have a 1,000 lb working load limit (WLL).
I have attached a photo of the straps in use as well as a comparison video which will be of interest to you.
