Updated 12/18/2018 | Published 12/17/2018 >
Question:
Hey what brake controllers would you recommend for an air brakes tractor and electric brake trailer? Also what all would I need to buy to make it happen? And do i need to change the connectors on the trailer?

The Prodigy P3 part # 90195 would work great for your application as it can basically be wired to any vehicle that uses 12 volt power. Or for a controller that is designed specifically for your application we have the Hayes brake controller part # HA100400C which ties into the air system of your tractor and gives you a proportional brake signal for a trailer with electric brakes. The connector you have in your hand is a standard RV style 7-way which is very common on trailers with electric brakes. If your tractor already has one like this then you'd be good. Otherwise let me know what connector you have on the tractor and I'll see what best option is.
