Replacement Anode Rod for Suburban 12 Gallon RV Water Heater

Question:

Can I order anode rod by giving model number of Water heater or do I have to pull out and measure length and how big around? Would like to have one the same time I pull the old one. Also how often should I replace it? I am full time living in it and it is Growing on 2 years old. Have 2017 Mobile Suites 40KSSB4 Thanks

Your 2017 DRV Mobile Suites 40KSSB4 has a 12 gallon water heater tank. Unfortunately I can't get enough information for your system off the web. We don't carry any 12 gallon options, so I don't know what anode rod is the correct fit.

Based on what I can find, I believe you will want the Camco RV Water Heater Anode Rod - Aluminum - 3/4" Diameter x 9-1/2" Long # CAM11563 for your replacement. The Suburban water heater manufacturer that I think makes your unit recommends replacing it annually.
