Replacement 7-Way Plug and Lead to Replace Damaged One that Got Drug While Driving
Published 11/16/2018 >
Question:
The cable that connects my camper trailer to my 4Runner was just a bit short and fell off while driving, now it’s all chewed up from the road and it appears the cable is damaged as well! Any ideas as to how I can fix this?

You'll want to install a new plug and lead on your trailer to replace the damaged one. Would be a good idea to go with a longer one than you have now. The the adapter you referenced has a 7-way I am fairly certain that's the type of trailer connector you have. Especially since that's very common on camper trailers like you have.
We have the part # 277-000143 which is a 7-way that has an 8 foot long lead that would work well.
