Question:
i recently bought a 2014 ford f150. it has stock side mirrors that move glass electricly. id like to replace them with the extendable towing mirrors. but canot find any that have just the mirror wiring without the turn and puddle lights on them. i havent taken the door panel off to see if the extra wiring is there or not. id like to just take the panel off once if i can avoid doing it more than needed. i used to own a 2013 f150 with the towing mirrors on it , but also was factory with heat turn and puddle lights, not shure if they wire them all the same or not and only use whats put on? got any ideas?

For your 2014 Ford F-150, the custom extendable towing mirrors like the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirror - Manual - Textured Black - Pair # KS61187-88F do not offer the electrical features but will give you the factory look. We don't currently carry any electric adjustable towing mirrors for your truck from any of our manufacturers.
If you want to maintain your electric adjustability and also get the extended view, I recommend the CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver Side and Passenger Side # CM11800 which will allow the current function of your mirrors but will also provide a longer view and manual adjustment mirror for towing. These have a nice large mirror and come with a mount that makes them look factory from a distance. I've attached some videos to assist.
Another good option is the K-Source Snap & Zap Custom Towing Mirrors # KS81810 which have a nice look but have a slightly smaller and more stylized mirror.
